GRADING BREAKDOWN

Every year teachers in Robeson County turn in a grading breakdown that highlights four or more areas that students will be graded on each year, and what percentage those areas are worth (for each subject area).  Our grading criteria are turned into the central office and approved before we begin each school year.  Below, parents and students will see the current grading breakdown for the school year for Band and Music classes at RSMS.

All grades are weighted per category.  A 100% in one category may not be worth the same as a 100% in another category. For instance, a 100% on a test is not only a huge accomplishment, but it is worth more than a 100% on classwork assignment.
